ASA Bloemfontein athletics Meeting CANCELLED

Dear Athletes
Please take note of the following announcement
The Athletics competition that was due to take place in Bloemfontein cancelled. The meeting will now take place in Germiston. Unfortunately SASAPD athletes can not be entered due to the fact that the meeting in Germiston is not IPC sanctioned, due to ASA changing the venue at this late stage, means we can not get the event sanctioned in time
PLEASE NOTE This meeting will take the format of the ASA Speed Series. There will be NO entries of SASAPD and NO individual entries can be made. No results or record applications can be done to IPC.

38 athletes qualify for athletics world championships

Now that the 2017 Nedbank National Championships have come to an end, we can confirm that a total of 28 male and 10 female athletes have qualified for the World Para Athletics Championships in July.

CONGRATULATIONS to these athletes. we looking forward to the final team announcement. SASAPD would like to make it clear that the South African team has yet to be selected.

Arnold Classic Africa 2017


Is it true? YES! SASAPD will be at the 2017 Arnold Classic Africa.


Not only are we in high gear planning the 2017 Nedbank National Championships for the Physically Disabled. We are getting ready to show the world what SASAPD is, and what sporting codes we offer. Sporting codes like Goalball, Boccia and Powerlifting will be showcasing their sport live.

We will also have the Current and past Paralympians at the Arnold Classic Africa to share their journey.

The Arnold Classic Africa 2017 is happening in Sandton, Johannesburg and will run from 5 – 7 May.
