Toyota National Championships
Toyota SASAPD Nationals
The flagship event on the South African para-sport calendar — one week, eight codes, and the country’s best physically disabled athletes on a single national stage.
Title Sponsor — Toyota
The flagship of South African para sport
The Toyota SASAPD National Championships bring together athletes from every province for a week of high-performance competition across all eight SASAPD sport codes — from track and field to swimming, boccia, goalball, cycling and the team sports.
It is where national talent is identified, the performance pathway begins, and the depth of disability sport in South Africa is put on full display — spanning age groups from U15 through to the open divisions.
The championships are about more than results. They are a national platform that draws the country's sporting leadership and reaffirms the growing commitment to para athletes and the federations that develop them.
Stellenbosch, Western Cape
The 2026 championships were hosted across the Coetzenburg sporting precinct in Stellenbosch — the Coetzenburg Outdoor Swimming Pool, the Coetzenburg soccer fields and surrounding venues — bringing every code together in one of South Africa's premier sporting hubs.
- All eight codes contested across one host city
- Provinces from across South Africa represented
- World-class athletics, aquatics and team-sport facilities
